It is officially month 11 of the Race. I can’t believe that we are already here. The days have been long, but the weeks have flown by. I feel like I’ve been caught in a daze. I didn’t expect everything to go by so fast.
Since my last blog, we left Colombia and flew to South Africa. We spent 3 weeks in Heidelberg – Western Cape where we partnered with Charis Bible College. They share a campus with a local church and primary school. Unfortunately everything was closed due to COVID. Our ministry for those weeks included painting and general maintenance to prepare for when schools and churches opened back up.
After those 3 weeks, our squad split to serve two ministry sites. One team stayed in Heidelberg, and one left for Jeffrey’s Bay. I decided to join the team going to Jeffrey’s Bay. We partnered with Beats & Books. They are an after school program who tutors kids in math and literature while teaching them about Jesus. They are run by Carla and Johnathon, Chile natives who were called to South Africa 3 years ago as missionaries. There, we tutored the kids and helped with a variety of admistrative tasks throughout the day.
And now here we are, with just a few weeks left. For our last ministry, the squad will be doing ATL (ask the Lord). During this time, we will prayfully seek the Lord every day and do what He has placed on our hearts. It is a time where we get to fully depend on Him for everything, where we get to see Him provide in amazing ways.
I am so thankful for this journey. It has brought freedom, healing, and breakthrough in so many areas. I am overwhelmed with joy and thankfulness when I think about what this past year has been. The people I have met, the ministries I have partnered with, the way the Lord has moved. It may have not been everything that I wanted, but it was everything I needed. I am excited to see what these next few weeks bring.
Hey girl!!!

When I saw you bunji jump off that cliff I think I almost peed my pants!!!! I am so proud and honored to know you and call you my friend.
Love always,

I’m excited to see what the next few weeks bring to you, too, Hannah. God has been leading you on quite the journey! I’m so proud of you. I’m thankful, too, that it “was everything you needed”.
Blessings for all things to be made possible during ATL.
Sending you much love.
Girlie, I’m so proud of you. You’re being the hands and feet of Jesus. I feel you’re anointed for something. I don’t know what. God does. Every day I pray for His protection over you and for Jesus’ blessings. Come home safe lady. Xxx
